Kim Brasfield was recruited by The Lipman Group Sotheby’s International Realty in 2009 by her business partner to develop, launch and operate Nashville’s first boutique real estate agency, Urban Abode. Kim Brasfield and Angela Wright are principal owners of Urban Abode, specializing in urban neighborhoods that offer condos, lofts, high-rises, green buildings, and modern construction.

Prior to joining The Lipman Group, Kim was the Marketing and Development Director for the Franklin based, Bristol Development Group. She joined Bristol Development in 2000 as part of the development team for both apartment and condominium developments. During her career with Bristol Development Group she had the opportunity to be involved in 23 new construction developments, 15 of which were apartment communities, and 8 condominium developments throughout the southeast including Nashville’s Icon in the Gulch, Velocity, Bristol on Broadway, and Bristol West End.

During her career, she has had the opportunity to be involved in new construction, property management, sales and marketing, and market research. Over her 21 year career in real estate she has been given the chance to work in markets located in Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Virginia, and Tennessee.

Kim has an extensive background with urban areas, market trends and invaluable knowledge in market research.

Kim currently holds the NAR’s GREEN designation with the National Green Resource Council and has previously worked with several of Nashville’s development groups throughout her career, such as MDHA, Downtown Partnership, Nashville Chamber of Commerce, and The Gulch Business Improvement District (GBID).

Kim is an Alabama native, who is a graduate from University of Alabama in Birmingham. She currently resides in Nashville with her husband Joel, and their two children, Sadler and Greyson.
